ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
Application for enrolment for prep/foundation students is made by contacting the school office from the February of the year prior to the student starting school. The office staff will arrange a booking for an information session for the applicant. During this session prospective families can enjoy a tour of the school and will be presented with information packs about the school and enrolment process.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR FOUNDATION 2022 ENROLMENT
- 8th February - Enrolments for 2022 open
- 10th May - Enrolment applications to be received by the school & online enrolment form completed by visiting www.ceob.edu.au
- 25th May - 1st round offers sent out
- 16th June - Written acceptances to be received by the schools
IMMUNISATION HISTORY STATEMENTS
When enrolling a child in primary school, parents must provide the child’s Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register. This shows whether a child has been immunised against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough and haemophilus influenza type B. Failure to provide the Immunisation History Statement could delay your child’s enrolment to St. Patrick’s Primary School.

Only children who will be five, on or before the 30th April of the year they enter Foundation will be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY
The School has set priorities to ensure Catholic children living within the parish have a place available to them in the school.
TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL
Once a place is determined to be available and enrolment forms have been completed a transfer form is required for any children transferring from another school. Copies of reports would also be appreciated to help the teacher assess the child and help the child settle in to school life. Immunisation History Statements from the Australian Immunisation Register must also be provided when children are enrolled from other schools. When the child is transferring to another school, parents will be issued with a transfer notice to be taken with them. Parents will also be asked to complete a ‘Continuity of Care’ transition form for their child’s new school. |
